2022 : Chaika by Midori Hirose
Retreating to my comfort zone with warm neutrals for this sweater. Knitting the neck band in a super soft blend of cotton and merino then following up with a cosy fluffy body. Hopefully it will signal the end of a very long wet winter!
Love the results so much.

Pattern has options for short, 3/4 or long sleeves. So pleased I went with the long sleeve option. They taper to the cuff perfectly and are so cosy. The combination of cotton/merino for the deep wide yoke helps to make this a very transeasonal sweater (and also for managing rising body temperatures).
As always I've added length (even tho I'm not tall). Mine measures 25cm from under arm to cast off. Rib is approx 7.5cm.
