2020 : Mashup cable beanie
I revisited this pattern with some tweaks to extend the cable further up to the crown. Love this squishy merino in rich, warm mahogany brown.
Craft : KnitPattern : Snowtracks Cap by Timothy Peters
Yarn : Patons Dreamtime 8ply
Colour : 3914 Mahogany
Needle : 3.25 or 4mm
Notes : Repeated rows 13-20 instead of 21-28. Then knitted row 25 as row 29! I wanted more cable up at the crown.
Decided to go down a needle size for the DK weight however in retrospect it would still be lovely on 3.75mm & 4.5mm. Mine is very squishy.
