This appealed to me on many levels. Our land is gripped by drought and I had hoped that when it was complete we would have had the rain we so need! We did have rain but only enough to wash away the dust for a week or two. Sadly, the drought remains.
I followed the written instructions for the short row lace sections rather than the chart which is my usual preference. Required some focused attention but then rewarded with lovely lengths of garter stitch. An absolute joy to knit.
I just dipped into the third skein for the cast off. You could be more economical.
