2018 : Clutch
Inspired by the clutch bags popping up all over town. This simple design from WATG was the perfect project to work on over the festive season - it's okay to take your crochet to lunch with friends?
2018 : Christmas
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...
With the festive knitting season in full swing I thought I should share some of my favourite (past and present) gifts and decorations to knit & crochet. I love Ravelry for searching out patterns and being able to save my favourites in bundles. Hopefully it's not too late to tempt you.
2018 : Project 19
A boho / hippie bag whipped up by our 13yo. How clever and satisfying to create your own accessories. A great life lesson in this time of fast fashion and instant gratification. This is her favourite summer bag.
2018 : Hedgehogs
How could I resist. So supper cute. There are a few patterns on Ravelry but I had always loved the one by Purl Soho.
2018 : Project 18
A very satisfying quick knit - especially with rainy & chilly winter days in October!
The construction was very cool. Start at the bottom and knit up to under arm. Knit sleeves separately then join and continue to knit yoke with decreases. Take care on the decreases. Lots of techniques to learn and practice.
