Workshop: Knit a simple colour work hat in the round (3 hours)
You will be knitting a small hat in the round (no seam!) and learning the basics of two colour knitting, including reading a chart, colour dominance and stranding yarns.
See Calendar for dates
Please bring along to class:
Three colours of your chosen DK/8ply yarn. We have used the Woolganics in pink (main colour) with white and red from our stash. This pattern is for a small hat suitable for a 0-6 month old, so that we can get through most or all of it in class.
Try to choose at least one colour that is a good contrast to your main colour.
Size 4mm and 4.5 mm circular needles with a minimum of 80cm cable. If you are using interchangeable you will just need the two sets of needles and one cable.
Stitch marker, wool needle, scissors
Pen/pencil or your preferred method of keeping track of rows
Prerequisites: Ability to cast on, working in the round, knit, purl
