WATG: Take Care Mohair

$28.00

Introducing WATG's luxuriously lightweight, breathable yarn - Take Care Mohair!

Fluffy and light with a soft halo, Take Care Mohair is also sustainably produced and biodegradable. The yarn is warm for the winter and cool in the summer months.

This diamond fibre is from the heart of South Africa, where a 200 year tradition of goat farming and mohair production has been passed down through generations. WATG's Mohair suppliers are fully committed to sustainability and empowering all individuals involved in the process through skills development.

Make something unique to you and shine bright like a diamond!

78% kid mohair, 13% wool, 9% polyamide

What's it Like to Knit With?
Lofty, open and flowy, Take Care Mohair is lacy and open on a larger needle, denser on a smaller needle. This yarn knits up quickly and is super soft! WATG recommend using 6.5mm - 15mm knitting needles or a 8mm to 12mm crochet hook.

What Can I Make?
Take Care Mohair is great for layering pieces - sweaters, cardigans, hats and scarves are WATG's favourite things to make with this yarn. Using only 1 x ball of Take Care Mohair you can make a hat or a cowl - the 50g balls are twice the weight of most mohair on the market.
