2018 : Project 2
One of my favourite things about knitting is the opportunity for growth and learning. There is always a new technique to master, new projects, new colour combinations, new people to inspire...
This year I was determined to master brioche especially after seeing the gorgeous styling and photography of Cobaltoan in Pompom Quarterly Winter 2017 (issue 23). I was totally in love with the images and set about swatching and learning this satisfying technique.
Pattern: Cobaltoan Lesley Anne Robinson (aka @KnitGraffiti)
Yarn: Bellevue Park Wool 8ply Super Fine Merino Wool (purchased at Fibrefest Singleton) & Noro silk garden from my stash
How much: 1/2 skein of each
Notes: Loved learning Brioche techniques. Thank you to the generous online community who post super helpful tutorials @nancymerchantbrioche @notsorryknitter
